The Delaware Congress of Parents and Teachers, also known as the Delaware State PTA, is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of Delaware’s children. With more than 7000 members, the Delaware State PTA is Delaware’s largest and oldest child advocacy organization. Delaware PTA is a state charter of the National PTA, made up of local units throughout the State of Delaware.

Delaware State PTA prides itself on being a powerful voice for children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in the Delaware State PTA is open to anyone who is concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth, and supports the mission of PTA.
